Abstract

Along with the development of communication, computer technology, networking and sensor technology, the wireless sensor network (WSN) has received the widespread attention. Target tracking is one of the most important applications of WSN. The key technologies about target tracking in WSN are introduced. The interacting multi-Model (IMM) algorithm and the particle filtering algorithm are developed for collaborative target tracking. A simulation platform is built up to confirm the performance of the proposed collaborative target tracking algorithms. The simulation result shows that the proposed method is reasonable and feasible.
