Abstract

In this paper, a deployment method for a broadband monopole antenna array on a Vivaldi array is demonstrated, achieving enhanced isolation between array elements through characteristic mode analysis(CMA). With the assistance of CMA, the layout of broadband monopole array elements on a Vivaldi antenna array has been optimized by computing the superposition of modal charges at multiple frequency points. This approach achieves high isolation between array elements across the 2-6 GHz band and has been validated through numerical simulations.
