Abstract

A case study of prognostic and health management (PHM) methodology for electronics is presented. A method with combined parametric monitoring and real-time model-based prediction is used in the study on a commercial electronic product. A general test flow and a process that was developed in a precedent study are verified. This study identifies technical issues that remain yet developing a satisfactory PHM methodology for avionics and other electronic system.
