Abstract

Based on the analysis of C-arm X-ray images and the existing methods in medical image registration, a C-arm image mosaic method based on a home-made ruler is proposed. The X-ray images acquired in the image acquisition protocol are corrected with the bilinear transformation model, and the corrected images are processed by the intensity-based registration and aligned in the coordination of the first image, so that the X-ray image panorama is formed. The accuracy and the effectiveness of this method is validated by C-arm images of the cadaver bone experiment.
