Abstract
The 3-D mathematical model with coupled convection and conduction boundary conditions is established by the enthalpy method. The control equations are solved within the whole field. The effects of Natural convection and voids are considered. The reliability of the program and the model has been verified based on the experimental results. Effects of various parameters, such as the inlet temperature, the velocity of fluid, the thickness of the fins are discussed.
