Abstract

With the development of 6G technology, the connection between Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) technology and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) technology has become increasingly close, so as to meet the needs of novel scenarios considering both communication and sensing simultaneously. Among them, UAV detection and communication in urban scenarios has attracted wide attention. In this paper, integrated sensing and communication is focused to explore the problem of beam management optimization for UAV detection. In particular, the beam is taken as the breakthrough point to analyze its impact on the performance of UAVs communication and detection, and the corresponding performance indicators are deduced to show the performance tradeoff between them. Further, the beam optimization problem is constructed, and the tradeoff optimization between the communication and detection performance of UAVs is finally realized. The simulation results show that the proposed beam optimization method can flexibly improve the ISAC performance of the system, providing theoretical support for the performance analysis of NTN novel scenarios with both communication and sensing demand.
