Abstract

The collaboration between robot and medical environment (including medical staff) plays a critical role through the entire procedure of robot-assisted orthopedic surgery. From aspects of surgical informatization and interactivity, this chapter introduces the functional configuration (workflow and basic setup) and the human-robot interaction modes in the orthopedic operating room. Suggestions for improving the performance and the clinical acceptability of the robot system is also briefly discussed.
