Abstract

Basing on linearized Kepler equation, the formula of formation flying orbit parameters is induced. The performance analysis formulas for spaceborne distributed InSAR system are explored, which give the measurement precision of height and velocity and the refinement of space resolution. According to the critical baseline analysis and the formation configuration design, a baseline design technique is proposed, which is applicable for the distributed spaceborne InSAR systems with general three dimensional formation flying orbit. Computer simulation results for the interferometric baseline analysis are demonstrated, with the formation flying orbital prameters design for an L-band distributed spaceborne InSAR system, and the efficiency of the baseline design technique is validated by the performance analysis.
