Abstract

This paper describes a novel attitude control strategy for an under-actuated spacecraft with two RWs (Reaction Wheels), using the active assistance of SRP (solar radiation pressure) torque. In this case, the magnitude and direction of the solar radiation pressure torque can be adjusted by changing the solar panel rotation angles. The model is linearized and the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) controller is designed to obtain the command control torque. The numerical solution is used to calculate the windsurfing angle to provide the expected torque along under-actuated axis. The simulation results prove the effectiveness of this control method.
