Application of reflective tensor in shooting and bouncing ray algorithm

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

In reflective path calculation of shooting and bouncing ray (SBR), reflective tensor is used to imply single and multiple reflected effect and is inferred particularly. Incident direction and polarization after reflection are expressed in dot product of tensor with the original incident direction and polarization. Through analysis of tensor's calculation, results of different polarizations in mono-static are studied in SBR. The calculating examples show that reflective tensor in SBR is correct and efficient and can be used for analysis of various type of targets.
