Application of marked point registration in non-contact surface measurement of large dimension sheet parts

Abstract

With the great development of measuring technique 9 the surface measurement method of large forming parts has gained a grand advancement. The basic theory of 3D registration is introduced firstly in the paper, and the registration arithmetic of sticking marked points factitiously is shown. At last, the application example and the effect of registration are provided. The technique provides a reliable measuring method for controlling forming precision.
