Abstract

This paper demonstrates the efficacy of the generalized predictive control for a gust response alleviation system identified from experiment data. These data are recorded in a low-speed wind-tunnel test. After signal processing, an autoregresive exogeneous model is developed for generalized-predictive-control-based control synthesis. Results of numerical simulations on the data-driven system are provided, showing further that the generalized predictive control is a preferred candidate for the gust response alleviation.
