Abstract

Composite materials have been used widely in modem aerospace due to its high strength, light weight. The electromagnetic environment is very complicated as antennas are placed on the composite airborne platform. Under the background of large composite materials used for airborne platform, this paper mainly studies the news EMC problems of antennas operating characters and the coupling characters on the composite plate, due to different electromagnetic parameters (relative permittivity ϵr, relative permeability μr). Coupling degree is used to describe antenna EMC immunity limits. IFF antenna and beidou antenna are chosen to form an antenna pair, both located on the back of airborne, which is simplified into a plate model. We put forward antenna pattern distortion factor σ, which describes pattern distortion phenomenon.
