Abstract

In order to solve the problem of estimating the sample spot diameters in fabricating biochip, the liquid dispensing principles were analyzed. The affections to the sample spot diameters by the factors, such as the tip diameters, printing velocities and liquid characters, were tested and discussed. According to the experimental data, the estimation formula of sample spot diameters was put forward.
