Abstract
The continuity damage mechanics method, combined with an analysis on the contact problem of composite beams without damage, is introduced into the analysis on the contact damage problem of composite beams under static contact loading. The analysis on the contact problem of the non-damaged composite beam is solved by an inverse method. The approach of additional loading and iteration are applied to the analysis of the interlaminar damage and delamination problem of composite beams under static contact loading. The damage distribution and stress distribution of glue layers are obtained. The result shows that this method has nice behavior of convergence, and is convenient for application.
