Abstract

The increasing complexity of integrated circuits and shorter time-to-market result in rapid development of SoC. The complex system is constructed in SoC using some patterns available; therefore the problems of pattern generation and selection become important. There is regularity in the system architecture, so some patterns can be built, which occur many times in the systems by exploiting the regularity, and select some of them to be embedded in the system in order to optimize it. The analysis and comparisons of some algorithms available are also given.
