Abstract

Flight control system consists of flight controller, sensor, and actuator. Currently, the research focuses on the design and optimization of flight controller, regardless the influence of actuator. This paper is devoted to find out the way actuator effects the flight control system in both dynamic and energy consumption by substituting actuator (hydraulic actuator and electro-hydrostatic actuator) model into the model of flight control system. Results revealed that the model with electro-hydrostatic actuator is better than another in energy consumption characteristics, but worse in dynamic characteristics.
