Abstract

Based upon nonlinear analysis theories for single-layer reticulated shells under fire conditions, more than 800 FEA models for four types of single-layer reticulated shells (K8, Geodesic, Schwedler, and Lamella) with different geometric parameters were set, and nonlinear finite element complete-process analysis under fire condition were conducted on the two typical cases, i.e., global non-uniform temperature distribution and localized high temperature. By analyzing the calculation results for elasto-plastic stability bearing capacity, the practical calculation formulae for calculating elasto-plastic stability bearing capacity under fire condition were obtained.
