Abstract

Compared to manned aircrafts, UAVs(Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) have their special advantages and irreplaceable functions. Meanwhile, for vehicles, the onboard condition in the aircrafts’ takeoff and landing process is much worse than the condition on the ground. Because of the distance restriction onboard, the measures to improve the UAVs’ takeoff and landing performance are necessary. The vehicles can be helped by kinds of methods, such as the ski-jump board or catapult launch in the takeoff process, arresting cable in the landing process. In this work, according to aircraft dynamical theories, the mathematical models of the ski-jumping takeoff, catapult launching take off and arrested deck-landing process are established, which are the basis of numerical simulation. The influence of primary parameters impacted on takeoff and landing characteristicsis analyzed after simulate calculations. With the analysis of the computational contrast, the measures to modify the parameters and meet the requirement, are concluded.
