Abstract
A cylindrically periodic stratified media Green’s functions (CPSMGFs) method is proposed to analyze conformal arrays through one array unit. The CPSMGFs are developed on electric dyadic closed-form Green’s functions (CFGFs) and modified 2-D periodic boundary conditions. A modification is made to the method of moments (MoMs) to fit the piecewise sinusoidal (PWS) basis function. The convergence of this method is evaluated. Compared with the 1-D periodic boundary method in FEKO, the accuracy of this method is verified, and the analysis efficiency of conformal arrays is improved by over two orders of magnitude.
