N2 - Unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), as an indispensable segment in distributed combat network, has become increasingly significant in the battlefield, especially within the form of swarm and fully automatic mode. Therefore, the intelligent UCAV for distributed combat network has been an active research area. This paper proposes an UCAV intelligent combat system (UCAVICS) based on demands of distributed combat network, supporting UCAV to complete missions as an intelligent unit in distributed combat system. Specific functions including situation perceiving, task planning, decision-making, and command execution are allocated to four intelligent subsystems so as to reinforce its learning and collaboration behaviors in the battlefield. On this basis, the article further prospects critical software technologies for UCAVICS including bionic swarm-based algorithm and data-driven algorithm. Brain-inspired chips also contribute to accessible alternatives for UCAV intelligent hardware platform.
