Abstract

In this paper an optical-electric field sensor with KTP crystal as its sense element is designed. The sensor uses the reflection-compensated optical path to eliminate the birefringence which insures that the probe works in a linear condition. The frequency range of the sensor is 1MHz to 4GHz and the sensitivity is 50mV/m·√Hz.
