Abstract
An experimental study of flow in the wake region adjacent to the endwall of a linear compressor cascade is presented. The measurements were carried out in the large-scale wind tunnel at low speed of 9 m/s. Presented data consists of profiles of mean velocity and Reynolds' stresses. Data show that the passage vortex will keep on its form and intensity in a long distance. Vorticity and Reynolds' stresses distributions in the wake region are highly dependent on the wake and its motion due to the trailing edge pressure recovery. With the movement to downstream, the decreasing and diffusing of Reynolds' normal stresses is larger than that of Reynolds' shear stresses.
