Abstract

In this paper, we review the current actual demand of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Many outstanding advantages of CDMA wireless communication are analyzed, and a novel type of Vehicular information platform is put forward, focusing on improving the modernization degree of city traffic. Also, some key technologies such as system functionalities, the hardware frame and the software implementation are elaborated for this Vehicular platform. The working mechanism of performing the platform's duties is explained. Experimental result shows that it possesses high practical value, and provides significant effects, both theoretically and practically, for other Vehicular Intelligent systems developments.
