Abstract

The future of pathology is automatic and digital. Here, a label-free, sensitive, and rapid circular polarimetric method is proposed for assisting the brain tissue sections' disease digital pathology. In addition, the entire system is integrated as an automatic instrument. The unattended automatic detection provides diagnosis advice by measuring the polarization metrics of forward-scattering light from tissue. The depolarization shows indication at diseased tissue. Finally, a newly designed multiplexing optical fiber meta-tip is adopted and achieves an ultra-high accuracy.
