Abstract

A tunable double-band transparent wave-shaped frequency selective surface is proposed in this paper. The simulation results demonstrate that by adjusting the capacitance value of the varactor diodes, the first passband can be tuned from 9.2 GHz to 6.2 GHz, and the second passband can be tuned from 15.1 GHz to 11.2 GHz, with a transmittance higher than -0.1 dB. Additionally, altering the dielectric thickness can also shift the passbands. Moreover, this frequency selective surface exhibits excellent stability with respect to the incident angle and polarization.
