Abstract

A new revised algebraic second order moment (RASOM) model which is used in large eddy simulation (LES) of Flame-D is researched. The RASOM can take subgrid reaction rate into consider, so that predict more precise results. The reaction rate is not only related to the temperature and the species concentration but also the mixing rate. Considering subgrid mixing rate, RASOM model is used in simulation and the results is compared with experiment data and results obtained using eddy dissipation concept model. Thus the precision of the RASOM model is confirmed, and the effect of subgrid reaction rate is also studied.
