Abstract

For the fixed wing UAV can perform limited tasks at the same time, This paper proposes a concept of airborne miniature aircraft which could help the fixed wing UAV carry out tasks and presents the design and optimization process. The aircraft is loaded on the fixed wing UAV and taken to the target area. It will be separated with the carrier aircraft when approaching the target area, and hover in the air to help finish the observation task. The paper gives the overall scheme, the power unit design, the attitude control system design and the structural design and optimization. The reserved quality space for payload accounts for 40% of the total weight, providing more choices for the selection of the payload.
