Abstract

Russia's OPTIKA numerical optimization program is used for calculating the characteristic of a four-stage axial flow compressor's aerodynamic design. The performance of compressor is calculated and analyzed at collected speed n̄ = 1.0, 0.9. In the aerodynamic design process, the performances at the design and off-design points are considered simultaneously. The off-design aerodynamic characteristic optimization is expected to enhance the integrated performance of multistage axial flow compressor.
