Abstract

This paper studies the output feedback tracking control for 6 degree-of-freedom (DOF) spacecraft formation flying (SFF) subject to system uncertainties, input constraints and actuator faults. A pseudo-velocity filter is designed, and the adaptive neural network (NN) technique is employed to approximate unknown dynamics. A low-cost fault tolerant part is included in the controller to compensate the actuator faults. It is shown that the tracking errors are uniform ultimate bounded (UUB) under the derived controller. Simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
