Abstract
Combining optimal control and self-tuning control theory, the adaptive control strategy for semi-active landing gear is proposed. The mathematical model describing the absorber system in the airplane landing gear is established and the semi-active controller is designed and used in the system based on analyzing the influence of the parameters on the system performance. The simulation results demonstrate that the control scheme can improve airplane taxing performance and operation stability performance.
