N2 - In this paper, the adaptive secure control problem for a class of second-order nonlinear systems with p-normal form and uncertain time-varying parameters against sensor and actuator deception attacks is investigated. Multiplicative type of attacks are considered. A novel adaptive backstepping based resilient control scheme is constructed by employing the power integrator Lyapunov function technique and a special Nussbaum function. It is shown that all the closed-loop signals remain uniformly bounded despite the occurrence of the attacks. Simulation results on an illustrative example are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
