Abstract
An accumulated detector based on phase compensation was derived, aiming at the range spread target of wide-band radar. Most of existing methods just consider the amplitude information and usually ignore the phase of the echo signals, which could lead to the lost in performance. By analyzing the raw phase of echo signal, the detector conducted a phase compensation process at first, and then followed the energy accumulation based on the data sorting and CFAR detection. Finally, the performance of the proposed detector was compared with that of the integration detector, which was given by Monte Carlo experiments. For the target, the scattering center is evenly distributed in white Gaussian noise, and the detector proposed reaches a better performance.
