Abstract

Testing is a very important way to identify Ad hoc network reliability. However, the mission cycles of some certain wireless networks are usually long. The topology and the external environment of wireless network are dynamically changed. Bit error rate changes with different operation condition. In order to evaluate the BER under its mission scenarios in an efficient way, the paper analyzes the BER model for wireless networks, derives the BER similar criteria based on similarity theory and establishes the accelerated models. This accelerated model is verified on a wireless network based on simulation platform. The results show that the BER in normal original network and the similar network are almost the same.
