Abstract

Networked control systems have many advantages, however, the existence of network-induced delays due to sharing a common network medium may degrade performance of systems and even cause instability of systems. Problem of the absolute stability of networked control systems with the controlled plant being a special class of nonlinear systems-Lurie systems is studied in this paper, where the considered network-induced delays are time-variant. A sufficient condition of delay-dependent stability is established in terms of LMIs, and a simple design of controller is given by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii method. Furthermore, the robust stability of closed-loop system with norm-bounded uncertainty is considered. Finally, two numerical examples are worked out to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed results.
