Abstract

This paper introduces a W-band extended interaction oscillator with a ladder structure, utilizing a sheet electron beam with dimensions of 1.2mm × 0.2mm (width-to-height). Through CST-PIC simulations conducted at an electron beam voltage of 25.3kV and a current of 2A, the extended interaction oscillator demonstrates the capability to generate an output at 91.09GHz, delivering a power of 10.02kW and achieving an efficiency of 19.8%.
