Abstract

Many power electronic systems require dualactive-bridge (DAB) converters with ultrafast dynamic response. This paper presents a transient-reversed current feedforward control scheme for DAB converters based on peak current mode control, which can enhance the dynamic response to unloading transients. The transient state equations of the DAB converter with power flow direction changing are derived to accurately predict the current. The settling time under unloading or regenerative energy conditions can be reduced by using the proposed transient- reversed current feedforward. The effectiveness of the control method is validated through simulation results.
