N2 - The salt spray test is a standard method for anti-corrosion environmental testing. Typically, the standards for salt spray tests are based on qualitative or empirical methods, which makes it challenging to scientifically compare the environmental adaptability of various materials or products. This study presents a three-dimensional quantitative evaluation framework, based on test duration, severity, and environmental adaptability, which enables systematic analysis of corrosion degradation in a salt spray environment. Experimental validation with conformal-coated Printed Circuit Board (PCB) samples confirms the feasibility and applicability of the proposed three-dimensional evaluation framework. The results demonstrate its effectiveness in capturing corrosion degradation patterns and support its integration into reliability assessments and accelerated environmental testing. The proposed framework facilitates early detection of performance decline, comparative analysis across protective materials, and data - informed maintenance strategies - aligning with the goals of prognostics and health management (PHM).
