A study of privacy improvement using a randomized blind signature scheme in vehicular networks

Abstract

Security and Privacy are two important requirements in Vehicular Ad hoc Networks(VANETs). Blind signature is an advanced technique which is used to construct some privacy-oriented applications. This paper introduces the randomized blind signature scheme from bilinear pairing between vehicle and Road Side Unit(RSU) in VANETs for privacy and identity protection. Moreover, this manuscript provides security proofs for correctness, blindness, unlink ability and unforgeability of the properties of the randomized blind signature scheme in the random oracle model, and shows efficiency analysis of the blind signature schemes.
