A Radome Slope Estimation Method Using Multiple-Reference-Model-Based SRUKF Filter

Abstract

In order to eliminate the influence of radome refraction on the line of sight (LOS) angle, a new radome multiple reference model based SRUKF filter is proposed to estimate the radome slope. The proposed method corrects the measurement of LOS angle by two-step filtering, which can effectively address the issues of insufficient measured data and uncertain variance of the radome slope. Simulation results show that this method can estimate the radome slope effectively, as well as improve the accuracy of the guidance system.
