Abstract

Parallel test technology is a key technology of the USA DoD next generation of ATS, and it is necessary for the general-purpose automatic test system (GPATS) to adopt parallel test mode to realize numerous complicated testing tasks for multiple UUTs. This paper proposes a design of parallel test system based on Client/Server (C/S) mode to make up for some deficiencies in existing parallel test systems and illuminates how to build such a parallel test system in detail, including the establishment of the network communication, the scheduling of testing tasks and the achievement of executing tasks in parallel.
