Abstract
In traditional error analysis for rendezvous remote guidance, both relative position and velocity between chaser spacecraft and target spacecraft are used to describe the error state. The Monte Carlo simulation in this paper shows that this method will amplify the error state, because both relative position and velocity are correlative. So the traditional method for rendezvous remote guidance terminal error analysis is not quite reasonable. A new method for rendezvous remote guidance error analysis based on CW equation is proposed in this paper, and the error model constructed by this method is used to analyze the distribution and propagation of rendezvous remote guidance error. The result shows that the error model based on CW equation can more accurately describe the state and its propagation of rendezvous remote guidance terminal error than traditional method, so the new method is good to describe the accuracy index of rendezvous remote guidance in practical engineering.
