Abstract

Besides the data reading function, the AMR network faced to next generation smart grid should has the functions of intelligent power transmission and line damage detection. The traditional AMR network can not meet the above requirement. We should work on new network architecture and optimize the protocol. We established the architacture of wireless sensor network, which is suitable for the next generation AMR system, and optimized the energy saving of the HWMP, the routing protocol of wireless mesh. After that, we put forward the routing algorithm of E-HWMP, the energy of which is optimized. The simulation shows that the lifecycle of network existance is extended.
