Abstract

As aircraft hydraulic system demands higher pressure, higher speed, and higher reliability, the vibration control of pipeline systems becomes more crucial. Aiming to reduce hydraulic pipeline vibration and dampen fluid pulsation, the stiffness of pipeline clamps is important to improve the vibration characteristics of hydraulic pipeline systems. This paper proposed a newly designed clamp of high stiffness, to attenuate pipeline vibrations. Modal analysis with the finite element simulation is employed to compare the results between the proposed clamp and the traditional p-type clamp, validating the effectiveness and advantage of the new clamp.
