Abstract

A new bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene salt with MnCl42- anion has been synthesized electrochemically. The crystal structure was determined and electrical resistivity of this salt was measured. This charge transfer salt shows semiconducting behavior in the temperature range of 50-290 K with a room temperature conductivity of 0.74 Scm-1.
