Abstract

This paper presents a millimeter wave multi-feed compact antenna test range (CATR). Eight offset-focus feed antenna are introduced to form a multiple quiet zones (QZ) environment which improve the millimeter wave CATR measurement efficiency significantly. Simulation and measurement results show that the variations of each QZ's amplitude and phase residuals are = 2dB, and = ± 8° respectively. A standard horn antenna with 25 dBi gain is measured in this CATR. The measured radiation patterns in different direction of arrival agree well and the antenna radiation pointing error is less than 6.7%.
