Abstract

We introduce a model for the long time dynamics of a Lennard-Jones system. The model reproduces the collective jumps among minima of the potential energy surface. We are able to investigate many structural properties. We analyse here the off-equilibrium regime, evidencing the violation of the fluctuation–dissipation relation.
