Abstract

A model was proposed to simulate the diesel injection system under oil-gas two-phase fluid conditions. The model makes the pump chamber, the delivery valve chamber and the injector chamber as the simplified control volumes while neglecting the cavitation phenomena inside them. Fuel pipe is handled as one-dimension straight duct, and the junctions between sub-parts are connected by discharge coefficients. This model simplified cavitation at injector nozzle and treated cavitation area at fuel pipe as temporary control volumes. A programming based on the model was made and it was validated by the experiment.
