Abstract
Micro-mobility management protocol stands out as an important provider in large scale wireless internet with low signal-load and fast handover, but is lack of capability to distribute anchors' traffic-load. We proposed a new micro-mobility management scheme with hierarchical anchors in IPv6. We described the new scheme's architecture, designed a novel anchor selection algorithm for load balancing and path optimization, and simulate the algorithm with NS-2. Simulation results indicate that the new scheme has flexible and efficient capabilities in load balancing and path optimization, and can provide good QoS for wireless mobile Internet applications.
