A kind of stability analysis method for resonant vibratory gyroscope

Abstract

A Kind of stability analysis method for resonant vibratory gyroscope based on Mathieu equation is studied in this paper. The principle of resonant vibratory gyroscope is described by Mathieu equation. The suggested stability analysis method using periodic Lyapunov function derive stability criterion of Mathieu equation, which obtained a bound on the parameters. Further, to narrower the limits of gyroscope parameters in practice, numerical analysis is considered. Finally, in order to validate of the proposed stability analysis method, the gyroscope parameters followed stability analysis are designed. This study maybe helpful for the design and optimization of resonant sensors, especially operational principle is detecting resonant frequency shift.
